Pilates with Apparatus

based on equipment developed by Joseph Pilates - a Trapeze Table (also called a Cadillac), which has a frame for hanging from, a roll down bar as well as a push through bar and a variety of attachments with springs; a Reformer (which has springs with different levels of tension, a sliding carriage and pulleys); a Combo Chair with split pedals, springs and resistance and a Spine Corrector which can be used either in isolation or with other apparatus. All these make for an infinite variety of exercise possibilities for all ages and abilities.

Yamuna Body Rolling

developed by Yamuna Zake, this self-release and self-conditioning technique uses specialised therapy balls to treat specific body parts. Using a ball and controlled body weight, the entire muscle is stimulated from origin to insertion and tissues are accessed that are not easy to target with conventional stretching.
